DO I HIRE A MARRELL SKIP BIN OR HOOK BIN?
If you have limited space or just a small amount of light weight rubbish then the Marrell skip bin may be the better option.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MARRELL SKIP BIN AND A HOOK BIN?
For effective waste removal, we supply two types of Bulk bins: Marrell skips and Hook Bins. Marrell Skip bins range from 2-12 cubic meters. They are smaller at the bottom and larger at the top.
Our hook Bins start from 6 cubic metres and go all the way to 31 cubic metres. The distinguishing difference between the two is that the hook bin is a long rectangular shape with a door at the end.
Note a Marrell skip bin trucks is much smaller than a hook bin truck. If you have a steep or tight driveway you may be better off opting for the Marrell skip.
WHAT CAN’T GO IN THE HIRE BINS?
Items which cannot go in any bins are:
asbestos, paint, part filled paint tins, gas bottles, chemicals, liquid waste and food scraps.
ADDITIONAL COSTS AND PAYMENT
Some items that incur an additional cost:
mattresses, tyres and if the bin is overfilled.
Payment is due at the time of delivery. You can choose to pay via an invoice or credit card payment over the phone.
HOW HIGH CAN THE HIRE BIN BE FILLED?
Bins can be filled to the top rail of the bin, no higher.
If the driver arrives and the bin is over filled, we reserve the right to either remove some of the contents or charge an extra amount for the excess.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE HIRE BIN?
At Bin Planet, we allow you to keep the bin for 7 days usually this may vary depending on the supplier. Extra days can be arranged depending on whether the bin has been booked out to another job. We can usually be flexible, and also arrange pickup early if the been needs to be gone. If you require the bin on site for a number of weeks a rental charge will apply.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO I NEED TO GIVE TO ORDER A HIRE BIN?
We are usually able to deliver a bin to you within 24 hours from the time you order.
We recommend that you try to book your bin in advance, to ensure you are able to receive the size bin you require on the day you need it.
WHAT SIZE BIN WILL I NEED?
This depends on how much rubbish/waste you have to put in the bin. To help you try and work it out 1 box 6×4 large trailor load approximates to about 1 cubic meter.
